Volume Range adjustment available

For most of us this is not an issue

But a few of you have noted that the minimum volume setting on the Spectra (Vision) is still too high

for some of you with sensitive ears ( not me!)

Below is the offical Whites Factory offer to re program your detector to allow a lower range

White’s has adjusted the volume range of SpectraSound headphones in response to the

small percentage of Vision/V3 owners who find the minimum target volume uncomfortable.

This adjustment allows the Target Volume to be reduced from its current minimum by an

additional 20DB. White’s will make the software change at no charge.

If you find the minimum volume to be uncomfortable, send your control box, loop and the

SpectraSound headphone without rods, battery or charger, to:

Vision Performs in Grass Valley Ca.

Filed the following report from this weekend from a location he regularly works.

"I had a chance to go out today and I hunted Memorial Park in Grass Valley.  I have hunted that park numerous times, but not with the Vision.  

I found quite a few coins, sterling ring, sterling pendant (turtle), but my best find was a buffalo nickel without a date, at 9 1/2 inches.  Looks like we have a real winner here."

Which Loops are Compatible with the Vision?

The Vision will be able to use and current coil with  a V inset in the ear.
is would currently include the current Spectra D2 Loop, and some editions of 

the Eclipse 950, the Spider 12” and the 300mm.

 To be sure CHECK the ear

for the tell-tale “V” designation.

The Bigfoot for the DFX will not work properly on the Vision

When using the only 22.5 Khz the best performance will be found with the 

Spectra D2 Coil.

Important Hints

	1- The last program on the MENU is called COMMON. THis is intended to be used for Indoor Demonstration. As such it has a LOW sensitivity setting for safe indoor Use.2- White's Familiar designations of SENSITIVITY levels are different on the Vision. Old Term New Term Preamp Gain= RX GAIN AC Sens = Discriminate Sens DC Sens= All Metal Sens 3- You Cannot Lost the Factory Preset Program Levels on the Vision| There is a line under each factory PReset value If you change a Value adn wish to return to the preset setting just toggle the arrow back to the setting with the line on it! 4- All Changes to the programs wil Remain and not Go Away even if you Turn Off the detector remove the battery.All changes are automatically Saved for you. If you feel you are lost and are unsure what changes you have made , Don't Worry Using the RESTORE function will return all settings to factory Preset in just a few clicks! 5- The Vision comes with the Cordless Headphone Disabled or OFF In order to use your wireless Headphones you must First Enable or Turn on your headphone. See the Video Intro 6- The Vision Backlight is preset to 20. Lowering or turning OFF the backlight will save battery life.

You Need a Vision to make your dreams come true

During the 30 Plus years that I have been a Distributor for White's Electronics, I have been involved
with the development of many new detectors, many of which represented breakthroughs in technology and design.

The spectra VISION in no exception. In fact it is the most innovative and technologically advanced unit
we have ever developed. But the BEST NEWS is its PERFORMANCE.

By operating at Three carefully selected frequencies, either together or singly, its performance is unmatched.

By putting FULL POWER into a single frequency the Vision is agble to achieve MAXIMUM DEPTH on targets most responsive at that particular frequency. 

When utilizing all three frequencies together, the Vision is able to display the signal strength at each
frequency and thereby predict more accurately the identification of the target before you dig.

But that is just the beginning. Besides being the 'prettiest girl on the block' with its Full Color
Display Screen and its built-in Wireless Headphone capability, the Vision has a very unique capability:
WIth the Trigger locked forward an Analyze Screen is activated. This not only displays which frequency
produces the strongest signal response, but actually gives indication of the shap ans size of the detected target.
 

If this is not enough to complete your Vision, then how about an Active Control Bar, likened to the
dash board in you car, which gives you access to most all of the 'moment-tomonent' controls needed
while you are detecting...useable in REAL TIME while you are detecting
